such sweet and fragile baby child
in whom the whole of life and none
struggles to be reconciled

as rushed and dashed on
rocks of grief
between extremes of hope and fear
when love and succour bring relief
dashed again through crystal tear
and Rose Petal rests
and all the stuff
of George and Mo
and who to tell
and where to go
and Mel and Paul
are strong
as Mel and Paul
must be
as Mel and Paul
and George and Mo
and Rose Petal
are a family
